5 things you want to know about Apple “Clips”

So, we’re pretty excited at the announcement about the new Apple “Clips” app that is due to come out April. Why? If you’ve been like me who wishes there were more than two limiting size options of video sharing on social media, you know exactly what I mean. Right now, the videos don’t always seem to quite fit into that Instagram square just the way I want it to and editing takes time for a fun post ! I don’t really want to spend time jumping around for social posts. I just want something fast and simple (but looks like I spent time on)!

We can’t wait to try this app out! So, here are five things about the Clips that we already think will be fun to check out…

You’ll be able to COMBINE video clips, photos and music into videos!

SHARE through Messages app, Instagram, Facebook and other social networks easily.

LIVE TITLES: lets you create animated captions and titles like comic book filters, text bubbles. We found out you’ll be able to use your voice to do this too!  For example, captions can be generated automatically as you speak and will appear on screen synced with your voice.  It will also support 36 different languages.

CREATE multi-clip videos on iPhone or iPad without timelines, tracks or complicated editing tools. You’l be able to touch and hold a button to shoot live video and photos OR add them from your photo library!

ADD MUSIC Soundtracks! The app will have preloaded soundtracks to add to your clips and will automatically adjust to the length of your video.

Clips app will be available on the App Store for FREE beginning in April, and is compatible with iPhone 5S and later, the new 9.7 inch iPad, all iPad Air and iPad Pro models, iPad mini 2 and later, and iPod touch 6th generation. Devices must be running iOS 10.3.
