Summer is here, right? Which means more time to get together with our friends and family! We’re excited to learn about the new addition to Morals Village Restaurant, my choice spot for hot pot!
Yes, we often think about hot pots only in the winter season but the cravings are real! Just the thought of their flavourful soup pots and the endless menu selection of meat, seafood, and veggies makes me drool. Worth it every time. But what if you’ve got kids to feed? Well, sometimes they don’t eat much and often parents worry about not getting their money’s worth especially at an all-you-can-eat restaurant. I know. I get it.
Throughout the summer months, Morals Village continues to welcome families and friends to enjoy deliciously crafted hot pots in their comfortable restaurants. Good news! They’ve recently introduced special $5 hot pot set menu for kids (between the ages of 5 to 12/age 4 and under eat free) that comes complete with a selection of nutritious items. Each hot pot is ideally portioned for little ones with kid-favourites. Proceeds from every Kid’s Hot Pot sold will be donated to the SickKids Foundation as a way of giving back to the community.
There are two soup options: Creamy Mushroom soup base that is crafted just like any other Morals Village soup with quality ingredients (Beech mushrooms, chicken broth, and King Enoki mushrooms). The accompanying dishes include broccoli, carrot, cheese, pasta, chicken cheese filled balls, cherry tomatoes and quail eggs.
The “ABC Soup” aka Luo Song Tang, is a yummy broth made with beets, vegetables and beef that’s rich in vitamins and protein. Accompanying dish include tomago, tofu, octopus sausage, past and quail eggs.
