Ai Weiwei

Our staff is very curious about the upcoming art exhibition at the Art Gallery of Ontario (AGO).  The works of Ai Weiwei will be featured starting on August 17th in the exhibition named Ai Weiwei: According to What?  He is considered the most controversial Chinese artist of today. I’ve been invited for a media preview of the highly anticipated exhibition and will report back to you shortly afterwards.

Tickets are already on sale for the timed exhibition and you can visit to book yours now. The exhibition will run from August 17 to October 27. There will also be a live video chat at the AGO with Ai Weiwei on September 5th with a special performance by FUCKED UP as part of the AGO1st Thursday events.  You may want to check out the Chinese zodiac sculptures already set in place at Toronto’s City Hall Public Fountain.
