This year’s Interior Design Show (IDS14) has another spectacular array of designers and creators. I have 2 that I love that go for the obvious, but gives it their midas touch. What they do is create, imagine, execute and inspire.

Let me introduce to you:

JOE JIN is a visionary when it comes to every day industrial design. Something so ordinary will have just the right twist to make it extraordinary. One of my favourite products from Joe Jin is the Daisy Garden Rug. It captures the essence of nature yet it’s practical enough for you to dig your toes in. The winner are the daisies you can button on.

This year Joe Jin is featured at IDS 2014 show at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre for his chair affectionately called Bent. This subtle modification makes it sleek and stylish.

Have a browse on Joe Jin’s website. Hubby and I have quite an affinity to his products since we own his Taxi-Dermy Print and the Mr./Mrs. Lou Pillow, and the of the Daisy Garden Rug.

Next designer I want to introduce to you is:

EHOEHO, who has a talent for making coffee tables fresh. It is made with beautiful wood with a space for magazines. What I hear, your coffee table should be the centre of the living room. Most often that not, the TV grabs your attention first. With Ehoeho’s stunning piece it intrigues your eyes and it’s blissful to look at.

This year at the IDS show, he features a table lamp. Also made out of wood and it captures your eyes with the delicate designs of the angles. This piece is quietly scintillating and adds class to a study room.

I encourage you to walk around and enjoy the sites and sounds. Say “Hi” to these guys if you spot them. They are quite charming too.

IDS is at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre and is running for the whole weekend.

Ticket can be bought HERE for $19.00 or at the door for $22.00.

Hope to see you there!
