Designer Ken Chow (Krane) has an impeccable eye. His tailored craftsmanship on his designs could chase away any winter blues for guys. I’m hoping that he’ll someday come out with a few pieces for women as well. That navy and black jacket would be amazing as a knee length trench style for me. *wink* But what I love truly about designer Ken Chow is that he pays great attention to the details with military-like precision. Every cut and and every button is placed with much thought.
At his show during World MasterCard Fashion Week, the fashion file entered into show hall and greeted with a pre-show sound check with artists White Gallery. This “minimal set” was a fresh take that was totally unexpected. Loved it!
Krane’s FW14 collection of outerwear included black on black rabbit fur and shearling -lined mitts and trapper caps. His style’s got a bit of nostalgic old world charm mixed in with a youthful new world attitude.
His collections can be found across Canada, Tokyo and at U.S. at retailers including Fred Segal in LA and Barney’s in New York.
