When I get invited to events, I’m interested in learning and expanding my personal knowledge. Discovering something I may not have known before is always exciting and adds to any experience. It’s no different when it comes to food. Having chats with a few of our readers, I know that this is of interest to many of you. We’re not just hungry for great food…but we’re also hungry to understand and appreciate things we do.
In a city like Toronto, we all know that there’s no shortage of great restaurants but I’m on the look out for dining experiences and events for a great night out — Montecito’s is right up our alley with their recent launch of Educational Tasting Tuesdays.
Every Tuesday, drop into Montecito’s from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm and learn about some of the famous beverages and ingredients. This week, they hosted an information and tasting session on Vermouth – one of the cocktail world’s most secretive ingredients. It happens to be a key ingredient in cocktails like the Martini, the Manhattan, Negroni, and Americano. Knowledgeable industry leaders will be on hand to tell you everything you want to know.
Montecito Restaurant will provide updates on the Educational Tasting Tuesday events on their instagram @montecito_TO
