Some of the best arts, culinary and music festivals are mere months away! We’re eyeing these but we also know that there’s some planning needed now as we save the dates in our calendars. We want it to be as seamless and hassle free as possible. Like other globe-trotting festival minded travellers, we’re keeping an eye  Air Canada Vacations for affordable package offers. Here are some upcoming festivals you may want to get planning on now!

HURRY! The Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival draws thousands of rock, indie and hip-hop enthusiasts to the Californian desert for two weekends every year. Edinburgh’s Fringe Festival, the world’s largest arts festival, returns this August 7 to 13, 2015. Past performers have included legendary comics such as Craig Ferguson and Ricky Gervais, plus a multitude of live comedy, dance, theatre, circus, and photography exhibitions, with something for all ages and members of the family. The artsy and contemporary G&V Royal Mile Hotel is just one of the 63 hotels available through Air Canada Vacations.

OktoberfestSEPTEMBER: CELEBRATE OKTOBERFEST A MONTH EARLY IN MUNICH, GERMANY

The celebrations start off early for Munich’s world-famous Oktoberfest, running from September 19 to October 4, 2015, featuring live music and traditional Bavarian delicacies. Of course, it is best known for its selection of Munich-brewed beers, with more than enough to max out every pint lover’s content. The Barbados Food & Wine and Rum Festival is back for the sixth year from November 19 to 22, 2015, highlighting the very best of traditional and contemporary Bajan cuisine. The festival takes place at multiple sun-kissed locations around the island, with cooking demonstrations, events and seminars led by some of the most recognized international chefs. In 2014, Canada’s own Chef and TV star Roger Mooking joined the likes of Marcus Samuelsson for the event.
